The problem with American Capitalism

We pay people more to manage money than to actually earn it.

Hm. But financial management takes a great deal of knowledge and time, and it plays a pretty critical role in our investment infrastructure. It's also quite difficult to do well. I'm not sure that's a problem with American capitalism specifically; I think it's in the nature of any sufficiently decentralized economy/

Of course we need people to do these sorts of things. Its just kind of ridiculous how much money people make in this society off of other people making money.
